DOSAGE


Cattle and camels
The recommended dose is 4 mg gentamicin/kg bw/day (corresponding to 4 mL of the product/100 kg bw) twice a day, given for 3-5 consecutive days, via intramuscular and slow intravenous route.
Horses
The recommended dose is 6.6 mg gentamicin/kg bw/day (corresponding to 6.6 mL of the product/100 kg bw) given for 3-5 consecutive, via slow intravenous route.
Dogs
4.4 mg/kg (0.44 mL of the product/10 kg bw) given for 3-5 consecutive, via intramuscular and subcutaneous route.
Cats
The recommended dose is 3 mg gentamicin/kg bw/day (corresponding to 0.3 mL of the product/10 kg bw), twice a day, given for 3-5 consecutive, via intramuscular and subcutaneous route.

INDICATION(S)


Infections associated with bacteria sensitive to gentamicin:
Cattle (adult), camels (adult), pigs and horses:
Respiratory-, gastrointestinal-, urinary- and genital tract infections
Calves:
Septicemia, arthritis, otitis externa
Pigs:
Mastitis, metritis and agalactia (MMA) complex
Dogs and cats:
Respiratory-, gastrointestinal-, urinary- and genital tract infections
Cases of septicaemia and otitis externa

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD


Meat and offal:
Cattle and camels: 95 days
Pigs: 60 days
Horses: Do not use in horses intended for human consumption.
Milk:
Cattle: 6 days
